Inneventive Event Manager, Olivia Simson, discusses running one of her favourite events – Inneventives’ Circus Skills…
Companies come to us because they want something that is different and memorable. Having a strong internal structure is vital for any company to move forward and succeed and with success more often than not requires expansion.
Knowing your colleagues and trusting them is an important asset to work together and reach set goals and targets. Sometimes all you need is to remove your team from that environment and into another which strips them bare of status and office politics to bond and build on new and old relationships.
Our Circus Skills event can be either a half or full day and has proven to remove status and boundaries and create a fun and trustworthy environment for colleagues. The day starts with some great energisers and ice breakers from our RADA experts. This can be anything from mimicking a lion to warming up your body and releasing your inner skills.
This warm up usually lasts about 45 minutes and after the session the atmosphere has lifted after perhaps a long conference or night before!
We then send teams over to their stations which can vary from:
- Tight wire
- Hula hoop
- Plate Spinning
- Tight Wire Training
- Clown Skool
- Animal Workshops
- Character studies
The day takes a tournament style workshop and the end of the day is celebrated with a big theatrical performance which is always entertaining for all parties!
If you and your colleagues fancy a fun day out bonding and building trust then Inneventive and our Circus Skool are the way forward.
